Valeria Radchenko (they/she) is a London-based multimedia artist and music producer working with performance, sound, video, movement and text. Their work explores connection in the information age, cyclicality, and building more caring systems of living beyond capitalism. With a background in Computational Art, they are particularly interested in immersing audiences in speculative narratives through multisensory engagement, for example through audio-visual performances. They are a member of In-grid, a trans*feminist collective of artists/educators/technologists working in digital infrastructures.
Sonically, they are interested in the transformative power of sound, particularly the emotional potential of electronic music - how it can make us feel things that can’t be felt otherwise, or that we didn’t know were within us; how we can work with technology to express what is fundamentally human. Since 2018, they have performed and DJed across London venues such as Corsica Studios, The Bath House, Avalon Cafe and The Glove That Fits. In 2024, they received a grant from Help Musicians to record and release their first solo album, VISIONS, written, recorded, produced and mixed independently.
Valeria has also worked as a composer, producer and sound designer for artists and filmmakers, including April Lin's feature-length film, (Tending) (to) (Ta), 2021, and Elinor Rowland’s immersive experience, Fragments of Perception, 2025, funded by Immersive Arts. Their sonic practice is shared through lectures, workshops and 1-1 tutoring sessions, with topics ranging from coding sound with Max, to the principles of digital sound for drag artists, to collective singing. They also provide access support to Disabled artists, working as a creative enabler and supporting with home recording and performances.
